On June 20th, the annual meeting of FederSalus will be held

Federsalus is the main contact for institutional and commercial organizations operating in the food supplements sector.
For the 2019 edition it will be proposed among other things a deepening on the role of the food supplement in the customs and eating habits of our time.
Dietary supplements, in fact, are increasingly turning from simple diet supplements to key ingredients for complete health, mind and body management.

The Federsalus program

The program of the next FederSalus congress foresees the participation of members of the scientific and economic community, and of industry and distribution operators.
All operators will come together to analyze the state of the art and support the recognition of food supplements as effective and reliable responses to today’s consumer health needs.
During the Convention, the latest Censis Report will also be presented, which highlights, among other things, the social role of the food supplement in the context of a socio-demographic context increasingly oriented towards healthy lifestyles.
This being the case, the food supplement becomes an indispensable element in the daily life of citizens and as such takes on an important value in the public and private welfare system, to face the demographic trend and a rethinking of the role of food supplements.
Another issue that will be addressed will be the economic and health value of the food supplement.
The topic will be treated by experts in emerging disciplines such as nutrient and health economics.
With the growing weight of the consumption of food supplements in the lifestyles of citizens, operators will be required to produce and distribute products in accordance with the law.
In particular, with regard to distribution, it will be increasingly important to adopt temperature-controlled conservation and transport practices.
