Aervaro at the next Making Pharmaceuticals in Milan, 18 and 19 September

Making Pharmaceuticals, one of the main events in the pharmaceutical sector, will be held in Milan on 18 and 19 September. This is a unique opportunity to meet the main operators in the sector and hundreds of professionals from the pharmaceutical sector will participate, in particular as regards the Italian market. The event, sponsored by the Lombardy Region, will be organized at Unahotels Expo Fiera Milano, and will consist of two types of activities: the exhibition area, with over 100 stands of the main operators in the sector, and a rich calendar of specific conferences. It will therefore be an opportunity to learn about the latest solutions and strategies in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.

Exhibitors

Over 100 operators in the pharmaceutical sector will be present: manufacturing companies, pharmaceutical workshops, workers, research centers. It will be possible to discover the latest news in the field of health products and medical devices.

The conferences

The conference calendar includes in-depth studies in both scientific and economic fields.
The pharmaceutical industry, in fact, is characterized by distribution models strongly linked to the control of the conditions in which drugs and chemical and natural components are maintained throughout the supply chain.

With regards to the Supply Chain we recall in particular:

  • Supply chain control: import, transport, distribution and control of active substances
The control of the conditions of the active substances in the supply chain is a fundamental requirement to guarantee the quality, integrity and effectiveness of the drugs. Active products and substances must always be kept at temperature, in all stages of the supply chain, from import, to transport, from storage to distribution. It is therefore essential for operators in the pharmaceutical sector to make use of qualified logistics partners, equipped with transport vehicles and temperature-controlled warehouses.
  • Good distribution practices: quality as a bulwark against pharmaceutical crime.
The new GDPs of medicines for human use and the European regulations on medical devices require very high quality standards and traceability of products and processes also for the prevention of so-called pharmaceutical crimes (theft-robbery-counterfeiting)

  • Making certainty: uninterrupted environmental monitoring along the Cold Chain

Even the pharmaceutical sector, along with many other businesses in Italy, is experiencing a digital revolution towards industry 4.0.This will allow the sector to have increasingly sophisticated tools to control the supply chain and correctly monitor the environmental parameters of the entire production and distribution process of the drug.
